8 teams in my 12 team league are 3-3 (1 Viewer)

I have never seen this much parity in a league. This is a dynasty league that has been running for 5 years so you would expect some more dominating teams right now. 1 team is 5-1 and one is 1-5.

Not that anyone cares, but has anyone else ever seen anything like this?

That's really odd, usually there is some separation, especially in a dynasty league.

Last year in a 10 team redraft league, we had 7 or 8 teams deadlocked after week 11 with 6-5 records. The final standings had 3 teams finishing at 8-5, 3 at 7-6, and 2 at 6-7, and the 4th highest scorer didn't even make the playoffs. I started 0-4 and went on a 9-1 tear to win it all.

I once had a league where all 4 teams in the division had a chance at the playoffs going into the last week and all could finish last. (4th place team wins, the rest lose they are in, 3rd place team wins, 2nd and 1st lose, etc.).

I think it's always cool to make the last week actually a non-division week. More degrees of freedom for what can happen in the standings.

I agree. In my local, we always have Week 12 as the last round of Divisional games, and close out Week 13 with games against the other Division. With teams still jockeying for playoff spots or seeding, it is more fun watching all the games instead of say one or two divisional games that will impact all the teams somehow.[slighthijack]To make things more interesting, we have declared Week 13 to be VEGAS MADNESS WEEK.I set point spreads and over/unders for each of our 6 games (12 team league) and everyone has to submit their picks from the 12 categories (6 spreads + 6 O/U's). There is also bonus points for winning your own game outright, and because our divisions have sort of banded together to form a sort of rivalry against each other, there is also a bonus if your conference wins the 6 game matchup, with the tiebreaker being total points if it goes 3-3.Everyone looks forward to it all year long, PLUS if the playoff spots are decided early (they used to be, but not anymore) it still gives everyone something interesting to look forward to in the final week before playoffs.[/slighthijack]

Also, we have the W/L records in our divisions as follows.

Division 1:

4-2

4-2

3-3

3-3

3-3

2-4

Division 2:

3-3

3-3

3-3

3-3

3-3

2-4

So in Division 2 (I'm 3-3 in Division 1), we have a 5 way tie for 1st place at 3-3.

In fact, the top five scoring teams in the league are ALL in Division 1! The highest scoring team (at 3-3) in Division 2 would be in last place in Division 1 for crissakes.

12-teamer, no divisions, 14-game regular season.

One team at 5-1.

Two at 4-2.

Five at 3-3.

Four at 2-4.

As much as I panicked after losing 4 in-a-row after an opening-week win, losing SJax and others to inury, I was pleasantly surprised to see the logjam this weekend after pulling out a 2nd win.

I think the seemingly widespread injuries to some of the early-round picks are evening things out a bit. Add to that the fact that many of the top 10 in the skill positions were people drafted in later rounds, as opposed to coming from the "strong" draft positions early. Normally, you might see a few strong teams who drafted the top 3 studs riding them to early leads in leagues, but this year, 4th-6th round picks, who anyone had an equal shot at, are powering teams.

That's my perspective, at least.
