Very interested in this league, but has one rule in place I'm not fond of: "Commissioner must approve all trades"

Is the commissioner also an owner? Do trades sit in limbo awaiting approval, and possibly interfering with owner ability to place lineups? (As a night shifter this could be problematic!)

Commissioner is also an owner, and they sit waiting in in limbo but he's quick on the trigger.

Just a preventive measure so some people don't just try to make a silly trade.
But really, the only reason is the make sure the person has paid in advance if trading a future pick

So if you trade a 2020 pick, you have to pay into leaguesafe 2020 account 1st before the trade is pushed through

Defining "silly trade" can be tricky, and often subjective. More common nowadays is to require someone to publicly object to a trade to even being a reversal process. Most of my dynasty leagues require deposits for trading future 1s, but not prepayment for doing so. Not sure we've had any real issues with them going through automatically. (IE: Appreciate the thought process but believe the extra steps un-necessary and open up potential new problems.)

Still very interested though. Love the overall setup!

fair enough, let me know what route you want to go.
Silly trades would just be like a 1.02 for a 1.06 trade. Otherwise trade judgements just aren't there. Like I said, the real only reason is the make sure next season is paid for. Its only $80. If it were a $200 league or something I could see there being a deposit.

This is the 3rd league with basically the exact same setup this offseason. And everyone has been cool with those rules regarding full payment for next year. And would like to keep it going that way.

So is it your MO to generally just stamp trades unless there is something very blatant (like your example above?)

No league is perfect...I can get around this I think.
