A. Bethea (1 Viewer)

My own opinion is he played very well last year when Sanders was out. I think he'll do ok if Sanders if healthy, but as long as Sanders is healthy he will be the safety that provides most of the points as he is in the box more than Bethea but with Sanders health issues I think that Bethea might get a lot of opportunity and therefore holds value. Not a number 1 or 2 but probably a #3 DB. Just my 2 cents.

I agree but as he gets better he may be in the box more allowing Sanders to roam free.

Thoughts?
Bethea had a very strong rookie campaign FF speaking with 6 games registering at least 8 tackles. Losing him for three games in Dec hurt but in comparison to his defensive backmates in Indy, he had a very "healthy" year. What makes his rookie campaign impressive is that he played both positions but not until Sanders came "back" did he really blossom into a solid NFL rookie as he patrolled the middle of the field on the Colts playoff run.As a Colts fan I would love to see both Bethea and Sanders back their for 16 games next year as they try to DEFEND their Super Bowl title.Tom
