someone in the SP had a post about canceling out your opponents points and it reminded me of my very 1st sandbox league(IDP) a very looooooooooooooong time ago....
anyway this is how it worked:
IDP Starters were:
2DL
2LB
2DB
and 1 FLEX
the flex would dictate how you affected your opponents scoring:
If you started 3DL they had a factor that they decreased your opponents RB points by, but then they had a factor that would increase his WR points.
If you started 3DB you would decrease your opponents WR points and increase his RB points.
If you started 3LBs then no points were changed
back then I didnt really give it much thought because it was a work league and my 1st venture into IDP(i did win the league
) but then I didnt do IDP for another couple of years and all of my IDP leagues now are basically heavy tackle leagues...but some sort of factor scoring does seem to make a bit of sense and would possibly add a new twist to leagues....
anyone else ever play in a sandbox league or other league with scoring like this?
