A Lock in Week 3? (1 Viewer)

FWIWI am going with BuffaloI don't think the Jets are that good, and if I know my Jets, they seem to struggle at Buffalo
I agree with you but I could never pick against my own team.. :no:eta.. i assume that's what you meant by 'my Jets'

No need for a new who do I pick thread when you can just look through the Shark Pool survivor thread to see what teams are being picked this week.

The LOCK here is who do I pick threads. :lock:

I would also lay the points with BYE over the Raiders.

Take Miami, but you know everyone else will too.

By far the biggest point spread on the board at 11.

Washington over Houston and Baltimore over Cleveland are two I'm thinking about.
I generally avoid road teams, especially early in the season when all teams are still playing hard and believe they can win.I won the Shark Pool survivor contest 3 years ago and finished in the final handful last year, and what I look for is teams with poor offenses / turnover problems (that generally means bad and/or inexperienced QBs) playing on the road against good defenses. I see no really great plays this week (I've seen too many crazy upsets to believe in locks), but the best bet I see is Tennessee at Miami. I think Miami gets off the schneid this week.

I agree taking BYE over the Raiders giving the points... but I am not sure which way to go on the over/under. Do you think the Raiders can score points against the BYE defense? Or will it be a low scoring game?

I think BYE will cover the over/under themselves, whilst shutting out Oakland.

Which, based on Miami's previous play, I don't get. Something don't smell right at 11 points.

Id take Philly over San Fran. After a big win last week for Sf and a huge loss for philly i see philly winning easily.

I have absolutely zero, zilch, none, nadda faith in CPep ... he's looked absolutely terrible, actually worse in week 2 than week 1 so I think he's regressing ... no way would I take Miami ...

Portis will play and Washington is gonna destroy WHOston

Good choice except for that I used Philly in week 1. I like Atlanta over NO a lot better than Miami over Tenn.

Baltimore was my choice. They are operating on all cylinders right now and look to be a legit contender in the AFC.

Philly is my 2nd choice. They will rebound after a heartbreaker at home despite the loss of Kearse. SF is improved, but it's highly doubtful that they can beat Philly at this point, even at home.

Miami and Washington are tempting, but I don't think their offenses can separate themselves much from any opponent right now. The longer a dawg is allowed to remain in the game, the more they believe they can win.

I don't like picking east coast teams playing west coast games, or west coast teams playing east coast games.
