A photo of Walter Thomas, Man Mountain (1 Viewer)

The other guy in the picture is Renard McDaniel, Missouri State, who goes about 6'3" 310
Few questions:1. Why are you so enamored with this man?2. What do you project from him in the NFL?3. Why is it so hard to find anything about him on Google? TIA :goodposting:
1) planet theory - only a few guys his size have his athleticism (although he's unbelievably raw at this point).2) see #13) because he left Ok state as freshman and has since been at NW Mississippi JC

Question, when I google NW Mississippi JC I find that it is aka NW Mississippi Community College, I check out their athletics page and they have a pretty good history of NFL players, including Cortez Kennedy. But no where do the mention Walter Thomas, not on a roster, in the stats, as an all-american, no where. Are we sure that he went there ?

That is where he is listed from in the materials. Thats where he said he was from when I interviewed him.

I wasn't doubting you, just weird he wasn't mentioned more. But I did some more digging and found him way down in the stats, for some reason he only played 2 games in 2006 (injury ? academics ?), but he was plenty impressive. 16 total tackles (12 solo, 4 assisted), 5 tackles for loss and 4 sacks.

Walter Thomas

Here's another pic with a couple blurbs.

Walter Thomas, DT, NW Mississippi CC - Unstoppable when he got a good push, showed a good spin move (!) and was astoundingly nimble for a guy his size (think Gabe Watson at his best during Senior Bowl practices last year - dancing bear). Seemed to tire, and then get second wind. Didn't excel on every play but was dominant when he did. Got lots of individual coaching and encouragement. Talk of the scouts in the stands. Jags practically drooling on him
Walter Thomas, DT, North Mississippi CC - Your star of the weigh-in. He drew reactions ranging from gasps to smiles to a simple shake of the head in disbelief. Thomas is 6'4" 370. He's got some baby fat, but he's a legit 335 without it, and that's without the benefit of a formal weight training regimen - just natural size. His upper body weighs more than I do, and I love fried food. His body screamed NFL.

Switching gears a bit...

My 19 year old "boy" is simular (6-5, 325??) and was only semi-successful even as a high school football player. You see, he was VERY VERY VERY good for the first half of every game. By the time the 4th quarter began, he was on the bench.

For five years, he tried to improve from being a half-time player - The problem is his feet ~hurt~ after about 2 hours of any activity. My son is a fine, fun guy, but he'll never be a mid-level NCAA-quality player and we've known it since he hit the 5-10, 200 lb mark.
