I'd trade if I could, but we have a no trade rule prior to keepers being set. It's not a bad rule, it allows the lower rated teams to get better. I only

have one other option, keep both, and let Chris Carpenter go. He is my only SP that I was going to keep.

Definatley let Carpenter walk, you can get another CC quality pitcher out there, but these are two elite guys. I'd want both to have the trade possiblitlies. Can you do a draft and follow?

Holy Ridiculous Scoring System, Batman.

With that system, I would have no idea who to keep at any position.

Don't knock what you can't understand. If I drew you pictures would that help? :-)
I didn't say I couldn't understand it. I just said it was ridiculous. When you are trying to predict who will hit into more DPs or turn more DPs, you are out in deep water. It's virtually impossible to even get a general idea on how a player will score in these types of categories. I mean, you are getting points for turning a triple play. How exactly do you try to predict that?

If you are doing keepers, presumably A-Rod would be a top 3 pick and Longoria no worse than top 6. Given this knowledge, maybe someone picking in those slots would rather A-Rod than who is available, so have that guy draft a player that you like and could use(lets throw Ryan Braun out there for example). He drafts Braun, you keep A-Rod and after the draft, you make a trade. In effect, you've "kept" Braun. Mix and match accordingly based on need and player interest, but of course you'd need a GM to agree to this. But given the quality of your trading chips, I don't see why they wouldn't.

Agreed. But with all those categories, why not have "get busted for PEDs" -50. Then I'd take A-Rod and not look back.
