Active owners. 12 team Dynasty start-up $75.00 through League Saf (1 Viewer)

Experienced commissioner. Dynasty league- $75.00 per year. A $50.00 security deposit is required to secure future picks/team in case some one bails. We are using League Safe for payments and MFL as the league host.

The draft will be slow auction starting in May. 12 teams-24 roster spots on each team:

Total Starters: 10
Number of Starting QBs: 1
Number of Starting RBs: 2-4
Number of Starting WRs: 3-5
Number of Starting TEs: 1-3
Number of Starting Defs: 1

Owners are required to be active. I am not going to spam league members but responses to polls, offers and messages are expected, Most of the league is filled and there are some great guys in this group. We are looking for people who want be active and love fantasy football.

Why would someone want to get involved into a league and pay for 2 yrs? If there is collusion or something juuust not right why take a chance? I just don't get it

Commissioners do it because some people enter into dynasty not knowing what to expect or quit if they don't like their team. Because part of the nature of the league is not only trades in the current year but future draft picks a security deposit is placed to protect them.

The first dynast I commished I had a guy go Chip Kelley crazy with the trades and then leave the league. I had to discount it to the next owner to get one and eat the cost myself. The league is now doing well but lesson learned.

There are quite a few leagues on here that don't have the requirement.

So why have a league that you keep EVERYONE? It's silly and if anything this is why people "brag" that they are in 5-10-20-more leagues. They give up on their 0-n-whatever leagues.

Increases the level of difficulty. If you pick poorly you don't get to start again, you have to rebuild through trades and a rookie draft. Not all leagues are for all people. Think of a dynasty league as a bonsai tree. Your goal is to go all Mr. Miyagi on it and make it awesome. Most people are closer to Daniel-san or Julie) Think of a redraft league as going to a florist and picking out a bouquet.

The people who quit are a problem in every league. That's why you play in money leagues and that is why different leagues have different methods of keeping people involved all season (toilet bowls, high score each week). In dynasty we use a security deposit.

With that said. This thread is not the best place to ask these questions. This is for people looking for leagues. I would post this in one of the general forums.
