It's been widely speculated that the better all around back would eventually take over the lion's share of the load in Indy. I would expect that Rhodes will continue to see a slightly larger % of the carries than a typical #2 RB as they try to keep Addai fresh going forward. Don't forget that he is used to this type of rotation system from college and that many rookies hit the wall in their first NFL season, so the Colts want to avoid that with him. Addai should be a decent #2 going forward.
I think it will now be about 60/40 to 70/30 for Addai. Addai got a bigger workload the last two weeks because those were the most important games of the regular season for the Colts. I think for some of the rest of the non-division games Rhodes will get a little more work to keep Addai fresh (for division games - especially against Jax - maybe Addai gets most of the work).
Actions speak louder than words. Dungy has continued to say they will both be in the rotation. He has avoided to commit to either one. Yet the touches are clearly in favor of Addai right now. This week it was 18-4 for Addai and last week 22-6 (including receptions). So I think this speaks volumes.
