ADP for IDP (1 Viewer)

Yo, Clayton

Good to see that "The Master" is back at work.

If you need help in preparing the "IDP SOS" for week 1 release, let us know.... :blackdot:

We'll be happy to assist. :nerd:

I know it's a bit of a stab....but, after all, it is up to date as to the most recent sample and the sample is of long duration, a 16 weeker and all. :brush:

For "The Instituite For Advanced Mathematical Study". :X

Keep up the good work. :pics:

Best,

Toad, for "The Instuite"

Love these smiley face dealies.

Z18 just started. No suprises yet - Brown, Caddy, Benson, JJ were the first four. 1.05 is where the fun starts.

Check out the Z4, a completely different progression...the DEF side of the ball falling earlier, Nugent at turn #2, Matt Jones lasting untill what, the #24 pick?; Clarrett rolling late (#19)..

These guys been doing it for a while....they reflect a different look-see at this draft process. :brush:

Interesting to know that we Z4 guys march to a beat of a different drummer.I am the Broncos who selected Nugent on the 2/3 turn. That was a bit of a flub, but nothing I'm concerned with.

The items you mentioned:

DEF going early:

Last year, Sean Taylor went in RD1 to an owner with 3 1st's. Vilma went 2.05. This league isn't bashful about getting the marquee IDP rookies.

Nugent @ 3.01 - I did that. definitely early, but I hated bumbling around with K's last year and watching the Akers/Vinatieri owners kill at the position. Given the new deicmal scoring for PK's, I wanted Nuge. the other thing to remember was it was my 4th selection in the draft, so I felt like a NFL GM with multiple early RD picks and had one to use on the premier PK.

Clarett falling to 19.... I'll just say it know, even as a Tatum Bell owner in one league, I'm not going to draft Maurice. Not a chance. Nugent will score more FPs than Clarett ever will. Just my humble opinion.

Matt Jones falling to #24... I think that's probably about right for such an unkown quantity. There are MANY WRs who will be taken below him that will score much better in their first couple years. Jones, in my eyes, is the guy you buy low after he struggles his rookie season in the conversion from QB. I'd rather take this year's Keary Colbert (talented, underrated, expereinced college WR) and trade him after a promising rookie season. Again, that's just me. Some have much greater tolerance for guys who aren't productive right away. In Zealots, I'll do that for QBs and RBs, but not WRs. Call me a bit of a Drugrunner WR minimalist.

Wow, someone who actually understands it.So many people think that taking bad WRs late in a draft fits Drugrunner's theory.

*bump*

Yo, Redman.

I followed this link to check out the draft and noticed that Mike Williams WR-DET hasn't been drafted and this draft is into the 40's.

I suspect that it had something to do with the Matt Jones replacement pick at the 1:07....a snafu of some sort about there.

When you sort for WR's on "All Teams" he doesn't show up....so, he's there in the late rounds for the first guy that realizes it.

The league decided to allow both Williams and Clarett to be drafted last year. Thanks for the suggestion, but (fortunately) we're not quite that clueless. :) The guy who I'm watching fall right now is Pearman. I don't really want him, but before too long he'll be too much upside for me to pass on.

24 Team IDP.

We are almost done, DJ first IDP off the board @ 1.15 followed by Merriman one pick later. Then no more until mid 2nd round. Vets are allowed to be drafted, just as an FYI.
