AFC Championship Thread-Indy@New England (1 Viewer)

Colts fans, Pats fans

Are we jacked up, or what?!?

I'm more nervous than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

Hopefully, Peyton will be as useful as a one-legged man in an ####-kicking contest.

:football: :football: :football:

Keep the posts good guys. I'm at ***** work right now and this board and NFL.com are my only oasis in this desert right now.

Marino picked New England on his pregame on CBS and he picked Indy on Inside the NFL.. Looks like he has both bases covered.. I'm glad I dont use him to place my bets..... Just for the record,, I think Indy will cover..

The snow is falling and its wet  . Its going to be a messy game.
It's trickling snow - it is 31 degrees, slightly colder - fine for football. The field looks soft, not wet. Doesn't even look soggy!

Patriots-Panthers in the Super Bowl. :cool:EDIT: but I'm rooting for the Colts.

converted a fourth and inches and a third and 5 for first downs - if Indy keeps gettng them to third and can't stop them on third, they are in for a LOOONG day.Just converted another first down to the 20.

First time out. Game going the way I thought it would. Patriots able to move the ball at will. They probably will take a 2-3 score lead quickly, forcing the Colts to abandon the run. Then Manning throws a pick or two.

Indy's D is always in for a long day. They haven't got many good players. But they play aggressively, and hope for some mistakes. If they get 'em, they'll be fine. (See: cooperative Johnny Morton and Priest Holmes.) If they don't, they're doomed.

The Titans game started similar to this - both teams jumped out to early TDs, and the game ended up not covering the over. I am hoping this game has more offensive fireworks - it'll be a lot more interesting to watch than that last crap-tacular showing by both offenses in the last game in Foxboro.

Just logged in.....New England made that first drive look pretty easy....even WITH the forced 4th down....If the NE Defense can come up big against Indy today, NE should win by 10-14.... Realisitically, I see Indy's D stepping up a LITTLE and Peyton should have a couple successful drives on the Pats....I expect NE to win by 3-7 pts....Givens looks like he's been in a bloodbath.....Forshadowing? ;)

Colts need to blitz... Pats are 5 wide.... send more than they can block...
I'm not sure they have that in playbook. Ok seriously you are probably right but they don't blitz much we'll see if they change.
