AFC WEST being renamed the AFC San Diego (1 Viewer)

Ministry of Pain

Detroit might get some company in the 0-16 pool. Chan Gailey fired 2 weeks before the season starts, never ever seen that before. Denver can't find a starting QB. And Oakland looked like they were playing a different sport in their last preseason game. Is there any way San Diego can hold their head up high if they don't go 6-0 in the division...OMG I have never seen such a crapload of awful teams in 1 division.

yeah, this is a no-contest...SD will be able to do what AZ did last year....rest their starters for the last 1/4 of the season. Huge advantage for them headed into the playoffs.

Chargers are only -420 to win the West at The Greek. We joke about free money.... that is free money.

I just hate tying up funds for 4 months.

I'll bet you a donut that San Diego loses a divisional game this season.

I don't think the Raiders are going to be that bad this year.
I'm not so sure, I thought the Raiders would be improved until I started watching them in the preseason...man, just looks out of control up there.
I gotta agree. The 45-7 thumping the Saints put on them last week is a huge red flag for me. Its the 3rd preseason game, the one where the starters play the most! If it was the first preseason game or even the last where all the backups and training camp fodder guys play I wouldn't be so worried. If they make it to 7-9 it will be a miracle.

The turnovers, the penalties, the lack of effort....not looking good. It's unfortunate too, because when the Raiders are good it's good for football...one of the most entertaining team schticks around.

A good quote from the game over the weekend..."New Orleans is not nearly as good as they looked, and Oakland is not nearly as bad as they looked"...you are on record Arizona Ron...Oakland would be my dark horse for no particular reason...I just think Haley and McD may be in way over their heads...Cable just punches guys when they get in his way.

Oakland is going to pull several upsets this year, 1 being over the NYG Oct. 11th. Giants play them at home, but after 3 weeks on the road.Oakland is :goodposting: this year for betting football.Book it.

Ted Lange as your Bartender said:
If you draft Rivers, Gates, LT, VJax etc, make sure you have good backups. Could be staring at a big donut come playoff time.
charger still play Tennesse,Pitt,Balt,Miami, NYG,Dallas,Wash & Philly. no cakewalks there.

Dude, you've been here for like 6 hours and you're strutting around like you predicted 6-0 back in May. Raider Nation is one of the oldest and most respected members around here. I've got mad props for the guy, even if he does have the most unfortunate user name around. :goodposting:
