Cutler, Rodgers, Warner, Eli Manning, and Rivers. Is the Apocalypse near?
Not really. Brady is gone, P. Manning is getting the rust off and recovering from that bum knee. Romo has faced two tough defenses so far. Brees is missing Colston.I'm not terribly surprised to see Rivers and Eli playing at this level. We saw their emergence in the previous post season. Rivers has two really good WRs to throw to, and the running game hasn't been there for him. So, he has to throw the ball. Eli is filled with confidence right now and has a lot of weapons.IMO, the biggest surprise here is Rodgers. A lot of people thought he could do well, but did anybody really think he would hit the ground running the way he has?

Rivers is 5th with only 2 games under his belt? Wow....Just wait till Griese lands on this list.
As long as Griese throws the ball 70 times a game, he'll be on the list soon.
Typical Griese behavior. He comes off the bench looking like a stud. Then he gets banged up and falls back to earth, then he gets traded.

I did.Sincerely, Ted ThompsonP.S. Ya'll better show me a little more f'in respect next time.

Have Warner in 2 leagues as my starter .... and drafted Rodgers in another as my only QB on the roster with intent to be my weekly stater ...........

...........so far so good.

In the league where we start two QBs, my starters are Cutler and McNabb.

In the auction league I am in, I got Cutler for $4 and Rodgers for $3 (we got $200 to get the whole roster).

In the Gladiator league I am in, I got Cutler in the 7th round to be my starter, and Eli in the 10th as my backup.

I am liking my situations.

Eh...it's a little early yet, yes? When will Warner get hurt/start coughing the ball up?Will Rivers still post studly stats when LT heals up and starts piling up running TDs?Will Eli Manning do his traditional second half swoon? Will Rodgers still look great after he plays a team with a pass defense? Will Cutler...hrm. Cutler looks pretty solid.Interesting, but I suspect return to the mean for some of these guys.

Man, what I would give to have any one of those guys right now. I'm beginning to wish I drafted Brady, just so I could have an excuse for my pathetic QB production.

In one league my QBs are Schaub, Delhomme and Pennington. In another, they are D. Anderson, Favre and Schaub. Basically, I'm getting very little production at the QB spot.

Rivers could very likely be #1 after tonight.ETA: Maybe my league has a weird scoring system but our top-5 right now is:1.Cutler2.Brees3.Rodgers4.Romo5.EliMcNabb, Warner and Rivers(for now) are all 1 point behind Eli.

Michael Turner and Reggie Bush are the top two rb's in my league. Which is why you should never go with a rb in the first round...too much value to be had later.

So I assume you have at least 2 of them in each of your leagues?

:goodposting: Did you miss last season?
Eli's first 8 games: 13 TD's, 9 INT, 1584 yardsEli's second 8 games: 10 TD's, 11 INT, 1752 yards

In the second half of the season, he had four games with multiple INTs, and only one game with multiple TDs. No games with 300 yards passing.

The one good game he had in the second half of last season? Week 17, the irrelevant week of fantasy football. The seven games before that he was horrible.

Yes, I did have him. Yes, I am bitter. Even worse was watching him play like he was his brother in the playoffs.
