While there is some deviation here and there, it's pretty much consensus from every draftnik and scouting guy I read/hear that the top two RBs in this draft are Peterson and Lynch. After that, it's all over the map. Who do you think is the best of this bunch?

And, if you don't think AD or ML should be 1-2, let's hear the argument. Fire away.

:2cents:

Edit: To be clear, I mean the most talented RB, not necc. the best fantasy choice.

I like Michael Bush 3rd best but after AD and Lynch the 3rd RB taken in dynasty drafts is the one who is drafted by a team with a old starting rb or not very good starting RB.

If the Falcons spend a 2nd or 3rd round pick on a RB i would guess that guy will jump up on the dynasty draft board. Or bills or Packers.

I think M. Bush is the 3rd best back after those two, but he comes with risk due to injury. If he is healthy, I think he is clearly the 3rd best back. If not, then I would go with Pittman/Irons depending on what situation they end up in.

raw talent alone? chris henry
I disagree. C. Henry is a great athlete, but not a great RB. He worksout very well but that does not translate to the field for him for some reason. Now way would I consider him the 3rd best back in this class. I will say he has potential though.

All of these guys have warts, but I'll go with Kenny Irons. He's agile, explosive, and built low to the ground like a lot of the best runners in the league.

I like Irons for the reasons you mentioned, but picked Bush at 3. If his fracture is healthy, he is 3; but Irons is right there close behind him.Of course, I am not that sold on Lynch as high as some people have him (i.e. Buffalo). I really don't see that much gap between Lynch, Bush and Irons.

does Irons remind anyone else of Travis Henry or is it just me?

Most star football players do get the opportunity to sleep around.I also like Irons #3, and by the way this vote is going Irons will be a great value pick in the late 1st.

Something in my mind has been telling me for quite awhile that Booker will not be the 3rd best back, but the 2nd best back in this draft (behind Peterson) when we're all looking back a number of years from now. I really can't even say specifically why. When I go with my instincts I'm usually better off than when I go against them, so that's the guy I voted for.

Up until his senior season Irons was an absolute beast and looked like a lock to be a first round pick, that being said I picked booker as 3rd best but dont count Irons out

Value to me is in Tony Hunt and Brian Leonard IMO.
pssst.......shhhh :goodposting: not the number 3, but he could be very nice value @~RB6 or so and after a couple QB's and WR's who should go ahead of him in dynasty rookie drafts

The U's own....Tyrone Moss!!!

If he hadn't gotten hurt, he'd be right up there. I think he's a natural talent and will adjust to the NFL easy.

For fantasy purposes, I'll say Pittman. For an NFL team, Leonard will make the biggest impact, although it won't show up in his stats, necessarily.

Everyone is overlooking Tony Hunt because he skipped the combine. But if he runs a 4.5 on his pro-day he's definitely the 3rd best back of the bunch. He's a north-south runner and can punch it in on the goal line.
