I'm curious to see where R.Bush will be ranked in the Top 200 forward. I'm trying to gauge his value. I currently own him in a non PPR league, so I'm not sure what to make of him. Where do you have him ranked?

Here's my thoughts:

Preseason

PPR - 16

NO PPR - 18

After 1 week

PPR - 13

NO PRR - 17

What do you guys think?

I think that's about right.

I rank Bush playing the Cleveland Browns very, very high. I'd start him against the Browns every time.
Good info here  , any others.
It is good info if you read between the lines.Temper expectations until he does it against a real team

I'm a bit surprised that the Bush hype is so positive right now. McAllister's 22 carries scares me a lot. As a Bush owner, I was hoping for something like 260 carries and 70 receptions. Obviously Deuce isn't going to have 22 carries every week, but I was hoping for McAllister to have about 150 carries this year: so far, that doesn't look to be the case.

The 8 receptions is what I'm looking at, CS.In a PPR league, that's incredible if they use him like that.Edit: Not to mention he got 2/5 of the carries anyway. They just ran the ball a lot this week.

Absolutely. My main league is 0.5PPR for RBs so my optimism is a little tempered, but I doubt he would have slid to me if it was 1PPR. That being said, I'd still be happier if McAllister got less carries.

I think he will as the season goes on and Bush gets used to the offense. Though, I could be wrong.Either way, Bush had nearly double the receptions as the top WR. Pretty incredible if they keep using him that way.And for the record, I never liked the guy in a non-PPR league, so I'm not the one to comment there.

the saints did have the lead for a good amount of the game which let them run deuce so much, when they will be trailing (probably in a good amount of thier games) deuce will lose of carries and bush probably will be kept of the field more often for his receiving skills

I'm guessing that Bush will get 10-15 carries every week, regardless of game score. Duce's carries will fluctuate more - he will have 20-25 carry weeks, but also 5-10 carry weeks.

I think of RBush as a TBell who can be effective in the passing game - will have similar YPC and similar touches as Tatum had last year, but then add receiving numbers comparable to...I dunno...LT maybe?

This is interesting.Why?
same deal with Tatum Bell. He's to explosive to not put the ball in his hands, but he's probably more effective in a RBBC comittee. you HAVE to use him, but you don't want to use him too much.in games where NO is winning (it will happen again this season) and they are trying to wear down the clock, McAllister is probably a better back - explosiveness is less important, grinding out 3 yards and a cloud of dust is what you want. I can see McAllister getting many more carries than Bush in this scenario. In games where NO is losing, they won't be running much anyhow in the 4th quarter.Either scenario - Bushes carries are fairly constant and McAllisters fluctuate.
