I would have thought with Jacobs inactive that he would have seen at least 30% of the carries vs. the Cards. D.Ward was in the game almost 95% or more. I don't get it. It cost me big time as I benched Hightower. That's what I get for over analyzing.

:lmao:

Overthinking on Sunday is bad. I benched a certain stud who never plays well in a bad matchup and put in Bradshaw at the last minute....fortunately it didn't cost me the win since the guy i played against started McNabb. But cost me the points lead. Bradshaw will not play again until Ward and jacobs are out!!! :lmao:

Coughlin hasn't fiqured out yet that Bradshaw is more talented than Ward. Ward had a solid 3.4 yards a carry in Jacobs absence

The Giants are 14-2 in their last 16. I'm going to go out on a limb and say Coughlin has a better handle on the capabilities of his running backs than you do...And that was a good Arizona rush defense they were up against yesterday. They were ranked 8th in the league coming in.

How many catches does Bradshaw have? Is he a good 3rd down back? Does he block well in passing packages?I didn't trust Bradshaw, since Ward seems to get the short yardage carries if Jacobs is out AND Ward gets catches.

All good points but does this totally explain how Bradshaw, a guy who was key in their playoff run last year, was almost completely overlooked with Jacobs inactive?

I picked him up on 2 teams last week but didn't start him. But I was thinking he could be a viable option down the stretch and possibly in the playoffs.

Giants schedule is tough but does that really mean anything with this team?

Bradshaw will still have a role to play down the stretch but don't forget he didn't get all that playing time last year until after Ward went on IR. The bottom line is that the Giants coaches trust Ward more. Even though the Giants were in control for most of the game yesterday it was still close enough that a turnover could have swung the momentum. The situation called for the steady, reliable Ward. Not the more dynamic, explosive Bradshaw.

Ward is as good as gone in FA, so why not give the guy a chance at a feature role to up his stock a bit? Cheers to Coughlin and Co.
