Ahman Green's Status (1 Viewer)

I care too....but we may have to wait to see if Green practices this week....perhaps that is why things are quiet

This thread has good information re: Dayne and Green

Texans in-season thread
Sounds like Ronnie Dayne is a good start this week.
As an Ahman Green owner I'm going with with Dayne this week. (my first pick on most of my waiver wire entries)If not I'm grabbing the following for the week:

Brian Leonard

Sammy Morris

And then if they're all gone...

Samkon Gado

Correll Buckhalter (Westbrook is iffy, and I'm getting the vibe that he might be 50/50 this weekend)

I know this isn't exactly a "WDIS" thread, but I figure most people reading this are Ahman Green owners, so as a fellow AG owner I thought I would share how I'm handling this weekend as an AG owner.

Ahman Green - RB - Texans

The Houston Chronicle reports Ahman Green (knee) is "unlikely to contribute much, if anything" when the Texans take on Atlanta Sunday.

Coach Gary Kubiak said it'd be a "big, big bonus" if Green could do anything against the Falcons. It appears Ron Dayne is likely to start for Houston, with Samkon Gado potentially helping on third downs. Dayne would be a solid flex play at worst and remains a must grab in all leagues.

Playing vs. Denver w/out AJ or JJ, there may be 9 guys in the box every play. I wouldn't expect anything from Green, even if he did play. And I highly doubt Dayne will produce vs. his old mates. Normally I'd play a RB vs Denver, but not when the passing game does not exist.
Texans play the Falcons this week and Atlanta got tore up by DeShaun Foster last week and are one of the worst run defenses in the league.
