Airline lost at sea (1 Viewer)

It climbed to 2,000 feet, descended 500 feet for some reason, then climbed up to 5,000.  They say it was gaining speed to around 400 MPH when they lost it on radar.  The pilot had requested to return to Jakarta.

It was a newer Boeing plane the article said, like August of last year new.  It had a technical difficulty on its previous flight, which they said had been fixed.

With duct tape?

Plane wasn't even 3 months old.  And the model just came out last year.  It's Boeing's fastest selling airline in history with almost 4,700 ordered.  United and AA have them coming.  Very old and very new planes are the most dangerous.  Rest of the BBC article here.

It’s interesting. Indonesia is basically Malaysia, especially if you’re an American, and Malaysia had that one plane that disappeared. So this is now TWO Malaysian planes that mysteriously disappeared.

Oh thanks for stealing my idea Fat Nick

Southwest has a ton on order. It's what they plan to fly to Hawaii and other carrib spots.
