Airport Hotel parking question (1 Viewer)

I'm flying out of Atlanta early one morning next week so I figured it would be easier to get a hotel near the airport instead of getting up real early and driving from Birmingham.

Looking for a convenient hotel got me wondering. If a hotel has free parking and free shuttle to the airport, can I leave my car there and take the shuttle to the airport and back to the hotel days later and be good - saving 9 days worth of parking?

may depend on the hotel but I always did

Looking at street view of the hotel shows me it is wide open and would be very hard to notice a specific car, but I will talk to the manager anyway. It would suck to come back to no car!

A lot of hotels have parking stickers you put on your dashboard with specific dates on them. I would assume this might be the case at a hotel next to an airport.

Some of the hotels I have stayed at advertise this. I was in Seattle and Embassy Suites had an offer in the lobby for locals to spend the night at the hotel by the airport and leave your car there. There was a limit, but I think it was up to 2 weeks.

oh... I thought you were going to do this without staying at the hotel lol

I just called them and they have a "park and fly" package for this scenario. It costs $6 a day so not bad. The hotel costs a little less than parking at the airport and the parking at the hotel costs a little less than a cheap crappy motel so you basically pay slightly less total for a much better hotel. Learned something new today, I can go home.

Ha, not that shady! I'm staying the night before flying out, just didn't want to do that and pay $12 a day parking at the airport.
