AJ Green & other Cincy Players - Disastrous Week 15 Semi Final Mat (1 Viewer)

This is the perfect storm for owners still in the playoffs and depending on AJ Green or any other Cincy players.

Last time they played Cleveland was the infamous Dalton 2.0 (QBR). Cincy scored 3 pts. and the entire offense was useless ...And that was at Home!

AJ Green - 81 Total Yards and 0 tds vs Cleveland ... Last 3 games combined (23,7,51)!!!!!!!! And of course 0 tds

Cleveland just made AJ Luck look bad ...now they face Dalton at Cle. and he has banged up ribs

I have Aj and Hill ... I am definitely benching Hill for Blount. Can't bench AJ especially after this week but not expecting more than 50-60 yards

I'm kinda hoping they sit Dalton (ribs) this week ... I feel like AJ might have a better chance with Campbell

It sucks, but what can you do? You play your studs.

I'll be starting AJ as well as one of Gio/Hill. Not happy about it though.

Bengals are expected to score 23 points according to Vegas. that doesn't sound that bad to me. Browns run D is basically average, so don't know what would make you change your mind about Hill

Green is perhaps the hottest wideout in football and would be very tough to bench, but expectations need to be checked for Week 15. In their last three meetings, Joe Haden has held Green to receiving lines of 7-51-0, 2-7-0, and 3-23-0. Hopefully Green is "due" to beat up on Haden. And hopefully "due" is a real thing

Tell that to TY. You never bench a top 5 player, ever. Haden may slow him down a bit but c'mon.
I agree with this. Always play your studs no matter matchup. Your bound to hit more than miss. Alternatively, how would you feel if you sat him and he went for 100 yards and a td? I have AJ and I'm playing him, without a doubt. Not a preferred matchup but that is irrelevant to me.

Couldn't agree more. Haden is no Revis.

I tuned in late to this game and on the final Colts drive the announcer was saying they took Haden off Hilton in the second half (Hilton had like 7 yds and a fumble in the middle of this game).

The Browns were tough on the Colts for the majority of the game. I would hate to start any Bengals this week.

Not sure Haden owns Green as much as Dalton has played terrible in some of these games. Green was open in the first meeting, but Dalton kept throwing the ball in the 10th row.

Sitting Jeremy Hill is silly talk. This D was scorched by Robinson and Blue. Bengals are going to run it.

Yep, bench Green and become the laughing stock for years to come in your league when he racks up 100+ yards and a couple of TDs. You will have to quit your league.

Last three games:

24-3 CLE (@Cin)

41-20 CIN (@Cin)

17-6 CLE (@Cle)

I don't think anyone is sitting anyone. But those are two really low Cin scores in there out of three. In the 2nd/middle game Jason Campbell threw 3 interceptions and there was a fumble lost too by Cle. Manziel is a wild card, he could turn the ball over and give the Bengals some opportunities, or he could lead some drives and keep the scoreboard moving.

I guess we should all be benching any Cowboys players too after Philly's D shut them out at home just two weeks ago. Demarco and Dez to my bench for Ivory and Harry Douglas, gotta play the matchups.

Lots of rose colored glasses in this thread...i guess history has taught them nothing...just hope for the best but prepare for the worst

There's been a number of games where I thought Skrine was terrible and wondered why he wasn't benched. Cincy's #2 might be key this week

This thread confuses me.

Haden was not assigned to Hilton. Hilton did a lot of his damage vs Gilbert after Williams went down. It's who the Colts attacked most of the second half as they had difficulties getting open against anyone else.

Skrine still has a tendency to get beat for the big play/penalty, but his play has stepped up significantly this year.

Haden is not a dominant corner. He is a good corner.

Haden has not dominated Green. Historically, it's been the opposite really. Dalton has bombed two of the last three meetings and the other one was that goofy one in which the bengals defense and special teams went nuts.

I think that covers everything...

People are actually considering benching AJ because of matchup??
Yes.

ODB and Evans ahead of him at WR.

Going back and forth with Lacy and Green at flex (Joique and Leveon at RB)

Its called building depth so you can bench a guy who has historically performed poor against a team/player as Green has against Haden.

Right now, Green is my flex because of Lacy's injury and a tough matchup. If Lacy were healthy, I don't think Id be leaning Green.

Wish I would have benched him.

Looking like I will hold on because Leveon and ODB are super awesome...but Lacy and Hill on the bench while I played Green. oof.
