Helluva play by Uggla just now. The ball slams off Jurrjens' foot and Uggla needed to break in the opposite direction to barely get the runner by a step.

Can't believe everyone gave up on this guy after last year. He was had on the cheap or on the WW in most leagues this year.

I'm not wild about the guy because of his mediocre strikeout rate. He's solid but I passed on him in my drafts and ignored him on the ww.
We'll see if I regret it by the end of the year but I feel comfortable with that decision. Better real life pitcher than fantasy pitcher.

I don't play in a league where Ks are the only pitching category. In my league they count ERA and WHIP also, and Jurrjens is one of the league leaders in those cats.

Jurrjens is a really good young pitcher. His biggest problem is all the injuries.

We'll see how he does this year. I think he's going to finish closer to his 2009 numbers than last year's figure but I don't put him in anything more than streaming status. Just a matter of your league size and starting requirements I suppose.
