Looks like he's OUT:
(Rotoworld) Tight end Alex Smith (ankle) and safety Jermaine Phillips (arm) did not make the Bucs' team trip to Detroit for Sunday's game.
Analysis: They were downgraded to out. Blocker John Gilmore will start for Smith, but Jerramy Stevens is a far superior fantasy option. He led Tampa in receiving last week. Sabby Piscitelli will continue to start at strong safety.
