Let's play "make believe" and assume the Hawks do NOT match Hutch's record-breaking offer from the Vikes.

How big of a hit does Alexander take?? More importantly, will FF'ers even consider the lost of arguably the best guard in the League when drafting Alexander in 3-5 months?? Also, Gray and Tobeck will both be 36 years-old next year. YES...Chris Spencer will more than carry his weight in the starting lineup next year, but the Hawks could see a considerable downswing on their O-line in '06.

He'll be lucky to hit 900 yards and 4 TDs without Hutch. That's how important he is.
Here's an interesting read...link:

The natural assumption is the Seahawks gain most of their yards on runs by going to their left, behind Jones and Hutchinson. But that hasn't been the case, according to STATS Inc. The Seahawks have had 11 more runs to the left side than the right, but they have gained 185 more yards on runs to the right.

Two factors are at work here. One is that many of Alexander's runs, like his 88-yard touchdown against Arizona two weeks ago, start out right, then cut back left. Those are recorded as runs to the right.

"When they run to the right, they break back to the left, so you still are relying on the left side," Cardinals coach Dennis Green says. "It's those same two culprits (Jones and Hutchinson) at the scene of the crime, blocking on the back side of the play."

The other factor is defenses often are stacked, or at least shaded, to the Seahawks' left. Because opponents know their only hope to win a battle against Jones and Hutchinson is to overload their side of the field, the Seahawks often find the right side to be their hemisphere of opportunity. "We don't bang our heads into the wall," Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren says. "We're going to go to where there are fewer bodies."

Have you cats heard of a dude named Walter Jones.

I could gain 1200 yards following his big *** to daylight.

Oh, he'll miss Hutch. But I believe in the system, and in Alexander. He'll take a hit, but not that big of one. Besides, the only way for Alexander to go is down after last year's monster season, right?

1200+

They would bring you out near the goal line so you would have maybe 5-6 TDs

Scouting reports say you don't have really good hands so maybe 20-25 catches

You can't pick up the blitz

You have that rocky past where you were caught talking with those slimeballs from the FBG board talking about porn all the time

2 years and then they let you walk :bye:

:goodposting: you hit it right on the head!

he actually ran better for more yards on the right side , but scored WAY more tds on the left side:

rush yds avg td

LEFT 96 419 4.4 14

MIDDLE 86 357 4.2 2

RIGHT 81 528 6.5 3
