All aboard the JJ Express. (1 Viewer)

BigTex

Don't mess with Texas
#1 RB avg per game = JJ @ 97 yds a game.

I know people are concerned about his injury history, but this week he's good for 120yds and a TD.

He's a pace to be the top rusher in the NFL and the train is leaving for Houston. :banned:

He's looking good, but Parcells has taken him out of goal line situations several times. This could hurt his TD #s.

He's on pace to beat out Tatum Bell for the leading rusher title by 4 yards on the entire season. The problem, of course, is that Tatum has played much tougher defenses, and that Tatum just earned the starting role. I don't think it'll last for very long. In fact, with the Raiders coming to Denver this week, I don't think it'll last for more than 2 more days. With that said, JJ's been looking good. He has exactly as many yards and scores as his brother (both Julius and Thomas have 388/2), but of course Julius has played in one fewer game.

I read somewhere recently that JJ has more yards through 25 games than Emmitt and Dorsett

Of course it was from Gil Brandt, so take it for what it is worth :)

Tatum isn't good after the 10th carry though....

This could be a lot like the Titan game a couple of weeks ago when all three Cowboy RBs scored. I would expect Jones to put up a huge game but I also think Barber is a very nice RB3 option as well. I'd feel comfortable predicting 100+ yards and a TD from Jones and 45+ yards and a TD from Barber. Thompson could get a garbage time score to close out the deal.

Is anybody watching the dallas games? JJ has two TD's. Marion Barber on the other hand has scored a TD three straight weeks in a row. JJ may be getting the yards, but not the goal line carries. I agree he may get some yards this week, but it would suprise me at all if he does not hit pay dirt!

He's leading the league in avg rushing per game, he'll get his TD's.

dont know if you guys are paying attention but parcells is giving JJ the rock closer and closer to the goal line, bad miscommunication on the goal line last week led to MBIII's td, but JJ will get his

Barber's TD last week came after Jones got stuffed on back-to-back carries from the 1:1-1-PHI1 (5:38) J.Jones up the middle to PHI 1 for no gain (J.Trotter).2-1-PHI1 (4:56) J.Jones up the middle to PHI 2 for -1 yards (D.Howard, B.Bunkley).3-2-PHI2 (4:15) M.Barber left tackle for 2 yards, TOUCHDOWN.I'm a big Jones fan and I agree with Big Tex that Jones will get his TDs but Barber is definitely getting a lot of goal-line love from Parcells and he's converting. I see no reason why that's going to change anytime soon. Again, I like both of these guys this week. I think Jones is a very good RB1 and Barber a nice RB3.
