There's a few situations around the league I'd like to know more about. Feel free to add your own.

Sean Considine - Has fallen completely off the map after coming back from a hamstring injury, anyone know what the deal is with him? Is Courtney Greene now officially the guy to own in Jax?

Bob Sanders - Lets pretend for a minute that he can stay healthy for more than a week, any value going forward?

Steve Gregory - reinstated by the NFL this week, will he reclaim his role with the Chargers?

Charlie Peprah - Saw a report that he might keep the starting gig, even if they activate Bigby.

Please excuse me if one or more of these situations has already been covered. I just figured that a master thread would be nice.

That's like saying let's pretend that Alex Smith is the best QB who every played -- does he have any value? Of course he would have value in that hypothetical situation. There's no point discussing hypothetical value for situations that will never happen in real life.

I guess you're right, that is too far fetched. Thanks for setting me straight while adding a ton of value to the thread!

Kyle Arrington CB NE - Has been doing well lately, at least in tackle heavy scoring, he has racked up 21 solos, 5 assists and a pass defensed in the last 4 games.

Gregory or Oliver this week? FBGs has Oliver ranked top 30 this week with Gregory absent from the rankings.

as far as Considine, the Jags finally realized what everybody else knows - good ST player, just a step too slow to play safety.

They seem to be sticking with Don Carey at FS and Greene at SS.

If you're in a league that requires CB, Derek Cox seems to have regained his place into the starting lineup. I'm sure teams will be targeting him given his earlier problems this season.

Good one, and he has the Texans coming up after the bye.

bob sanders sat on my team for over 2 years. i wanted to stick it out but in the end, it just wasn't worth the roster spot to me. as far as his value going forward this year... if he plays and you have room on your roster, he's a beast!!

Who is S Aaron Francisco, IND and what is his role going forward?

Week 6: 5-2 with an INT

Week 7: bye

Week 8: 7-2

Week 9: 7-1

Those are some nice numbers in a tackle heavy league.

With Bigby back in the rotation, I guess we can write off Peprah as a viable ff option. (my league starts 4-5 DBs, depending on formation)

Josh Wilson and Alphonso Smith have been impressing lately. Josh was recently named starter over Fabian Washington and Alphonso has exceeded expectations since becoming starter a few weeks ago, his bigplay potential has been awesome.

- If anyone is reading this thread AND care (I know chances are slim), I'll be closely monitoring the safety situation in San Diego this week (again).

- Any leagues still have Courtney Greene on the WW? I'd go ahead and play him over most others for the rest of the year.

- Can anyone explain what is going on in San Francisco? Goldson is very inconsistent and Mays has fallen off the planet. Who is Reggie Smith?

Yes, please. I am interested in any SD safety situation developments. Picked up Weddle in my league but worried about S. Gregory vulturing given that's what seemed to happen earlier in the season.

you should check this out, as it's from vague memory, but I think gregory got hurt in his return game and goldson's been playing with 2 or 3 injuries this year.

You are correct on Gregory. He hurt his shoulder and didn't return in the last game but no word yet from what I've seen on whether he's back practicing this week.

Gregory didnt practice Friday either, after being limited Thursday.http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81c4...le=HP_headlines

"Naanee (hamstring) was limited again, as were defensive end Travis Johnson (shoulder) and tight end Kris Wilson (back). Safety Steve Gregory (shoulder) missed practice after being limited Thursday."
