Jene I think a breakdown discussion of the top corners for those leagues that have a separate corner and safety would be great. Maybe a breakdown of the top 10 CBs?
This is coming in the tier series, hopefully by the end of the week. There are lots and lots of guys worth considering (Haden, Fletcher, Clements, Griffin, Powers, Joseph, Peterson, McCourty, Flowers, Williams) among the other usual low-level CB1 suspects. The only guys I feel comfortable giving a mid-CB1 floor to are Woodson, Finnegan, Winfield and Tillman.
Atogwe has looked really good in the skins D, regardless the impact of Landry what can we expect productions similar to what he had with the rams?
It’ll be very similar to his early career with STL if Landry is healthy. He’ll be highly dependent on big plays. If he can run up those nice FF and INT numbers, he’s a solid DB1. If not, he’s an inconsistent DB2/DB3.
is there a better target between the houston safeties(manning/quin)?
Phillips will use them interchangeably, so it’ll be close. Hard to say which one will play force against the run more often, but it’s probably smartest to expect a slight edge to the SS (Quin). And he’s looked good so far. I’d say both have DB2 upside, with Quin a more even game log.
Is that really true about Curry. I have looked, but could not find confirmation on that anywhere.
It’s what I’ve been told by Danny Kelly and the folks at the Field Gulls blog, who’ve noted the change in some practice reps this week. We thought it was worth mentioning but it came out sounding more certain than we should’ve. I think it makes sense and we’ll see how it plays out this weekend.
