seeing the bye weeks posted in the FBG Subscribers Contest thread made me think about the old joke/idea about drafting a team with ALL the same bye week, so you tank 1 week but have full fire power from your top picks the rest of the season.

Here are the bye weeks:

5 - ATL, CHI, GB, PIT
6 - HOU, MIN
7 - BAL, BUF
8 - ARI, DET, JAC, LAR, LV, SEA
9 - CLE, NYJ, PHI, TB
10 - CIN, DAL, KC, TEN
11 - IND, NO
12 - DEN, LAC, MIA, WAS
14 - CAR, NE, NYG, SF

I’ll do some ADP+bye week spelunking and reply to this thread….

1. Gibbs DET
2. McBride ARI
3. Kyren Williams LAR or MHJr ARI

6. Montgomery DET
7. Murray ARI or Meyers LV

Ok. Ran out of steam. But it’s fun to consider. Might try another bye week shortly…

Btw, this stupid idea is similar to the All Johnson team my buddy tried to build in our 30-years-running work redraft league back in the late 90s. The crazy thing is he actually tried it! (And failed miserably)

Your whole plan could be perfectly executed but by week 3 it's already shot because the RB1 you drafted is out for the year, your solid veteran RB2 has turned to dust, the sexy rookie WR3 you took is flaming out and you find yourself worried about spending too much FAAB money on the big breakout player because he's got the wrong bye week.

True, but I stopped at round 7-9 since I assumed the rest of your roster wouldn’t strictly stick with the same bye week as your main starters. Sorry I didn’t share the fine print

Fun exercise. Not sure I’d draft for it, it it’s entertaining to see these faux rosters.

Even more so if I’m looking at one the week I’m facing them.
