9 Player Sent Off

PIK 95 Red Card Roll

10 Ronaldinho
Ronaldinho doesn't appreciate a hard tackle by Zanetti.  They're having words!  Ronaldinho spits in Zanetti's face right in front of the referee's assistant?  Referee Mark Geiger has no choice.  He sends Ronaldinho off!

Neymar lines up a free kick from 24 yards away.  It's over the wall and on target, but it lacks the pace to trouble Schmeichel.

See now, here I would obviously sub in a hard DMF like Albertini or Bale on the left mid for Nandor and go 4-3-2 with Robben and Ronaldo up top.

PIK 95 Finishing Savings Roll (5 or 6 scores)

Ronaldo picks up the ball at midfield.  With a stunning turn of pace, he skips past De Rossi and shrugs off Busquets.  Cannavaro attempts to close him down, but Ronaldo unleashes a screamer from outside the box.  Cech is beaten as the ball hits the inside of the post and nestles into the net!  Amazing stuff from the Brazilian!

Sinn Fein 0 - 2 PIK95

7 Scoring Chance Saved!
Almost an immediate answer from Sinn Fein!  Neymar breaks past Suurbier and places a cross into the box.  Muller rises above Santamaria and hits a downward header to the right bottom corner, but Schmeichel miraculously gets a hand down to parry the header wide!  That's a legendary save!

[\spoiler]
Raul is clattered down by Tony Adams just outside the box.  The Spaniard will take the free kick.  He approaches, and it's always going wide left.  Chance squandered.

Neymar draws another free kick, this time against Suurbier.  Raul comes over to take again, but Neymar talks him out of it.  Team Sinn Fein showing signs of testiness!  Neymar takes the kick, but fares no better than Raul, putting the ball a yard over the crossbar.

PIK95 cannot string their passes together, but Sinn Fein is still unable to capitalize.  Sinn have had their chances, but nothing is going their way.

19 Own Goal Conceded  (NOTE:  Because I erroneously gave Sinn Fein an Own Goal conceded instead of a goal conceded on one of his disadvantage rolls, I will make this a plain goal conceded).
Robben squares up with Maldini.  The fans are screaming at Maldini to play Robben to his right foot.  But Robben goes left.  He skips past Maldini and Cannavaro onto his left foot and buries it past a despairing Cech.  That was not the Sinn Fein defense the fans expected to see.  Have they quit on their manager?  Does he lack the gravitas to reach these elite players?

Sinn Fein 0 - 3 PIK95

In the waning moments of the game, Muller is played through by De Rossi and unleashes a powerful shot.  Schmeichel impressively parries it onto the post, but the ball bounces back off of him for an own goal on the last kick of the day.  Schmeichel is briefly livid for losing his shutout, but Tony Adams shares a private joke as the final whistle blows and the Dane is smiling when he applauds the visiting fans.

Pochettino needs to inject youth into that team.  Some of those guys look like the walking dead out there.
