Almost Human - new TV show on FOX (1 Viewer)

Showing shows out of order = wrecked continuity = tougher to get sucked into the long arc of the show = less repeat viewers

I don't know WHY TV execs don't get this.

What sucks is it's ratings weren't really that bad compared to the Following. We are now on season 3 of that show. Really liked the chemistry between Ealy and Urban.

Yup. Not holding my breathe because I'm sure that Fox will roll out some much needed reality show of some sort, but this show could be a decent p/u on a smaller/different network.

Yeah I could see that. I just don't understand what Fox has against good sci-fi. It's like they go out of their way to screw it up and even when it still performs OK they axe it. Why do they even option the damn shows if they are going to do that crap over and over?

Unless the show is a disaster from the first frame, my :2cents: is that networks do not allow freshman shows to either find their stride, panic due to ratings and then move the day/time and by then the damage is done. FX would be my option for a network to grab this one.

Yeah I always think about Cheers or Seinfeld. If they hadn't had champions at the networks neither would have had a second season. And they turn out to be classics. Now that doesn't mean every show can be turned into a classic but if it has a good foundation, and I think this one did, then give it some time.

Bummer, I liked this show, but when I heard they messed with the episode orders, it kinda make me think it's days where numbered. If the execs don't believe in the directors/producers enough that they rearrange things like that, it can't be a good sign.

External disk for the DVR was dying so I had to write down my subscribed series so I could re-enter it after going back to the internal disk.

Saw Almost Human and was :sadbanana:

You'd think SyFy would have picked it up.
