Amazon Prime Day Deals (1 Viewer)

Dentist keeps bugging me about getting a waterpik to floss, saw a lightning deal for one and grabbed it. Maybe if I use it, it will get them off my back on my next cleaning visit...

the Oura ring gen 4.
What's the deal with these? I'm not liking wearing an iWatch AND a regular watch (which I'll always wear), or going back and forth, or the battery charging. So I've been thinking about one of these rings instead.

Is this the latest one and how much savings we talking?
I don't like wearing watches. I have a Fitbit watch that I never wear. I tried the original Oura ring when it came out and was not impressed with its step tracking ability and returned it. The latest ones have all sorts of monitoring capabilities. I don't even really like wearing rings but am thinking I'll give it a try again. Something to help motivate me in getting serious about improving my health. The galaxy ring is also an option. I guess with Oura you also have to pay a $6 or $7 monthly fee to get all the tracking capabilities. Looks like they are typically $350 but on sale for $300 so not a huge discount.
I went ahead and got it.

Now I need to sell my iWatch. It's the latest one with the bigger screen and a matte black, magnetic band. Zero damage, minimal wear.
I just ordered the Oura 4 in brushed silver color so it was a little more.

For us streamers they have a bunch of 2 month subscriptions for 99 cents but the apple+ is only 50% off.
Which services do they have 99 cent subscriptions? I couldn't find anything with a search of their site.
When I get onto my fire tv and I scroll down to Prime Member Deals it's there

now on my desktop, I can go to the prime video tab and then go over to the subscriptions tab
Thanks for this. Was having trouble getting the deal on the desktop, but figured it out last night on my Fire TV. I had to go to my subscriptions and press cancel for my Paramount+ since I was a current subscriber and it then offered a bunch of options including one to continue for .99 per month for the next couple months. Unfortunately, all our other subscriptions are through bundles on Verizon, but I'll take what I can get.
Even better on this, go directly to Paramount Plus.com and you can get their "premium commercial free" service for $0.99/mo for 2 months (vs. The "essential with commercials" offering through prime video $0.99/mo for 2 months)

Funny, I kinda did the same thing (payed a little more for color), got the stealth one, which is pretty much the same as yours. The silver was cheaper than ours but way too bright, imo. And the expensive ones are hideous, imo, gold and rose???

Wore it tonight and already can tell, so much better than wearing a(nother) watch. Glad I did it, this will do more than enough for me, thanks for the heads up.

BTW, just checked and the Oura 5 isn't set to come out until late '27? Perfect. Hate buying stuff that gets upgraded months later.

I actually ordered the Stealth and then changed my mind and cancelled and ordered the brushed silver. I liked the look of the Stealth better but then saw how the previous version of the Stealth showed scratches on it over time which I know would bother me. Also saw a video that showed how the Stealth finish is actually kind of abrasive and could possibly do things like scratch your cell phone screen. I'm not too concerned about that second one.

Amazon has the non-commercial version for $0.99 too, you can choose either version. Same for the other channels they are offering.

Probably still recommend going direct with Paramount+ though, when you go to cancel they will often offer you a free month or discounted multiple months. Can decide if you want to keep or cancel then.

Good time for P+, Strange New Worlds season 3 starts up next week!

Here are a bunch of mood rings all much cheaper than the rings you're looking at. Not sure about counting steps but they will show what mood you are in

I imagine most do that, I went to cancel my peacock and they offered me 6 months for 1.99

Re: smart rings
If you're like me and don't want be stuck with a subscription on top of the price of the ring. You might want to consider RingConn. It does offer a good group of features at a decent price. I've been using it for a couple years now and it's worked out well.

Purchased new camera doorbell, replacement AirPod Pros, some socks, a European Carryall, and a soccer ball.
