AMI tries to extort Jeff Bezos (1 Viewer)

I guess AMI has never tried to #### with anyone that truly had #### U money.  Jokes on them I guess.

I love this guy now. 1. Didn’t tell his lawyers. 2. Didn’t run it in WaPo and instead just posted a blog piece on Medium. 3. He’s got more money than literally everybody and tells Trump & Pecker to eat a brick.

I do love that the AMI counsel probably thought this was all privileged since they were sending it to Bezos’s attorney.  Bezos’s just took the e-mails and printed them without telling his attorneys.  Just splendid.

My God. The level of corruption in this administration. How can anyone possibly support this president?

The letter was sent to his lawyer.
Who forwarded it to Bezos.  Bezos’s apparently didn’t tell his attorney he was writing the Medium piece.  Point being, Bezos purposely eliminated privilege by doing it this way to screw AMI.

Not the response they were hoping for.  :lmao:

Wouldn’t want to piss that guy off but come on Bezos, di@& picks are so 2015.

Robert Mueller: alright, guys, head home early today. We’re almost done with this investigation anyway, and there’s nothing new to deal with this afternoon.

Prosecutor: Uh, boss, something just showed up on Medium...

RM: Oh, ### #### it.

This is great and all, but doesn't it seem like we all would have been better off if he'd contacted the FBI to let them run a sting operation?

So sorry to hear the news about Jeff Bozo being taken down by a competitor whose reporting, I understand, is far more accurate than the reporting in his lobbyist newspaper, the Amazon Washington Post," Trump wrote. "Hopefully the paper will soon be placed in better & more responsible hands!
No doubt in my mind this was ordered by Trump.  What a piece of garbage.

If I may engage in irresponsible speculation for a moment, I sort of wonder if this kind of extortion is what happened to, say, Lindsay Graham, among others...

Starting to regret having my lawyer sending a letter to the cop that lives next door to me telling him to murder an enemy or I'm turning him in for stealing cable.

Maybe first we should consider that Graham is an extremely slippery, duplicitous and opportunistic politician. Maybe he’s competing with Rand Paul to sweep in and take Trump’s base once he’s gone. Maybe he’s afraid he’ll be primaried. Who knows.

But yeah kompromat exists. Some local politicians, state politicians, national ones probably end up owing ‘favors’ to certain unsavory parties in certain situations.

What do you mean MT?  You mean for their recent actions as politicians?
A number of Republican politicians who at one time criticized or reliably stood up to Trump have since capitulated to him completely. I’m irresponsibly speculating that maybe AMI has something to do with that.

His popularity with the base is high, I believe, and he won and got them their justices for their pet causes. It is not the least dangerous branch. The S. Ct. will likely revisit extra-statutory and extra-constitutional decisions that have happened on its watch. He's sort of beloved by them for that, or at least has won them over.

Possibly.  But I put the odds of there being photographic evidence of Lindsay Graham's truest self at something like 99.92%.

Speculation on this is that Bezos mentioned Kashogi being what's got AMI all riled up to indicate it's the Saudi's behind the extortion attempt.

The same folks the Trump family has been sucking up to. While they torture and murder an American. No way they could be involved in this.

In Graham's case Occam's Razor says he doesn't want to get primaried next year

Jeff Bezos is a damn hero today.

Any lawyer who assisted AMI in this should be shunned and (likely) disbarred.

Other speculation is basically “hey, remember when Reagan bribed Iran with weapons using that guy Abrams to get them to in turn fund and influence the Contras? Hey, where’s Abrams these days?”
