ETA:  MLB suspended the pitcher that threw at Dietrich, Kela, for 10 games.  Garrett, who kicked off a melee with attempted murder, got 8.  Which should tell  you something about the Pirates' history here.  Reminded me of the time Andre Johnson mayhemed Cortland Finnegan and the NFL invoked the "had it coming" disciplinary clause before looking the other way.

Gate receipts are gate receipts. Season tickets sales and television evenues count for a lot over 81/162 games. I'm sure supply and demand comes into play here when it comes to those revenues.
