A friend of mine told me that he might be losing his starting spot but I can not

find anything about it.

I do not own him in any leagues but I am in trade talks that might put him on

one of my teams.

Does anyone have any information about him and the Cleveland situation?

We discussed Davis' 2007 prospects on the most recent Audible podcast-- maybe he heard about it there.

Davis has missed the past two weeks of preseason games with a bad ankle. Our speculation about Davis' job being in jeopardy stems from a number of things. Leon Williams, who filled in very well for Davis last season for a couple of games, continues to look good. So good that it appears he's already replaced Davis in the nickel package. Williams (as was D'Qwell Jackson) was drafted by Crennel, Davis was not. The Browns do have some cap monies invested in Davis, but he may not have the favor of the coaching staff, who have been looking for ways to get Williams on the field.

Sure. Welcome to FBG. I think most of the Browns homers would be happy to find Williams in the lineup too.

I beleive its only a matter of time. For the reasons Jean stated plus Williams gives them more speed. In the end, it will prolly come down to $$$, it usually does.
