I understand this isn't fantasy related but we all complain about some of the horrible announcers on NFL network and some other channels. Who would you like to see calling games?

I like H. Jon Benjamin, I like his voice, I think he is hilarious in that Archer show and the commercials you see during sporting events.

I think Christopher Walken would be good as well.

Anyone but the idiots doing it last night. I didn't realize just how bad they were till I listened to them do a game where my team was playing. zoinks

Jim Ross (pro wrestling announcer). He's a huge football fan and I believe he may have called some college games. He would add some excitement with his trademark style.

H. Jon and Jonathan Katz would be an awesome pair during a game.

Brendan Smalls would also be fun.

I might be in the minority, but Mayok is one of the few announcers I enjoy listening to.
I really liked Mayock when he first started because he knows his stuff and isn't just some former player but he's started to get a bit annoying as well. Nessler is terrible though. He gets names wrong, calls wrong, plays wrong, etc.

They should have something called "live gametime experience". Just what the stadium crowd hears over the public address system mixed with the crowd & field noise.

But even Mayock occasionally falls into the trap of talking about himself to much - some stories are good; more are really bad
