Trying to find confirmation. A coworker heard on radio that Jonathon Joseph was pulled over for driving erracticly and charged with possesion. Local news and websites have nothing on it yet. Anyone else hear this?

I will post link if I find one.

Found this....trusted local radio personality.

9th Bengal arrested

Rookie cornerback Johnathan Joseph was arrested in Boone County over night.......between 1:30-2:15 am.....on charges of marijuana possession.

Joseph was pulled over as a passenger in a car in which his girlfriend was driving. She had a suspended license. Police smelled marijuana and searched the car....then found the marijuana in a Super Bowl backpack.

Details to follow on the first player to challenge the new Hard ### Marvin

Now we know why the Bengals were saying, "We're going to the Super Bowl!"

So given the timing does this count against our '06 arrest cap or the '07 cap? Or does it count as 1/2 an arrest in each year?

None of the draft notes for him mentioned character issues previously, FWIW, so this may be the first sign of trouble.

It will be interesting to see how Marvin handles this, since in light of last year it seems the clamps would be coming down (his comments - or lack thereof - about Odell's future on the team falls into this category).

Joseph must be incredibly stupid. You have eight teammates get arrested in the past 8 months and you would think you would get the message.

What a dummy.

I kinda like the Bengals, and have always believed that no team is immune to off field problems, but it is time for this issue to be addressed by the organization.

This from Bengals.com, the full story (and fuller Carson comments) are at the website.

“It has to stop,” Palmer said hours after he heard the news. “If it doesn’t stop, we’re not going to have any fans left and I don’t blame them. It’s ridiculous. We can’t get through a month without getting a guy arrested. It happens on another team and they’re shocked and surprised to hear about it. With us, you hear about it and it doesn’t surprise you and you just shake your head and say, ‘Another one.’ ”

I swear. It's not like I have a problem with guys who smoke pot. But, can these guys not put down the bowl for a few years when they're obviously under the spotlight of a league that really frowns on this kind of stuff?

Again, in the grand scheme of things, not a big deal. But, these tards in Cincy have to eventually figure it out that they've got an image problem and make some personal choices that help reverse that perception.

Sheesh.
