MADISON TWP. — 

The alleged shooter from the Madison High School shooting has been identified as James Hancock, 14, a student a Madison Local Schools. Two students were injured by gunfire and two were injured escaping from the gunman.

• Shooting reported at Madison High School cafeteria just after 11:30 a.m.
  
• 2 students shot, 2 hit with shrapnel; families notified, sheriff’s office says
  
• 14-year-old male suspect in custody, charged with attempted felony murder
  
• Parents only are now able to go down West Alexandria Road to pick up their high school students only.
  
• Schools on lockdown: Madison, Edgewood, Monroe, Valley View in Germantown

This is 5 minutes from me.  One of the schools on lockdown (Edgewood) is where I graduated.

Thank God no one was killed and reportedly no life threatening injuries.  I'm not sure if the school had prepared the kids for this type of emergency situation but there are reports of older students gathering up other kids and leaving through emergency exits as soon as gunshots were heard.

Time for these clowns to move on and find a new atrocity to use to express themselves.  The whole school shooting thing is now derivative and passé.  Can't they see we are now longer shocked by the behavior, but bored.  Time to put this cliché to bed, like airliner hijackings to Cuba, I mean who does that anymore?  let's make school shootings the new Cuba hijackings, a thing of the past.

here's a suggestion for any thinking of committing one of these shootings.  Henceforth if you want my attention you will self immolate.  Only after you are dead will I be impressed.  I will give extra attention to your sad little life if you manage to self immolate while jumping from incredibly high structures or objects with no persons below.  Super extra credit if it is filmed and you do multiple burning flips on the way down.  If you can arrange it that crocodiles will eat your corpse after it hits so much the better.  Come on, amaze me.
