So in a bit of embarrassment I forget how to apply my own tiebreakers. I'm figuring out scenarios to send out in a email and am not sure I am applying my logic correctly. We lost 2 teams this year so we went from 3 divisions to 2. I don't need an argument on using H2h as we have used the same tiebreakers since 94 and try to mimic the NFL
So my divisional tiebreakers are easy:
1. H2H %
2. Division Record
3. Points
4-6 Other crap
Wildcard 2 clubs:
1. H2H
2. Total points
3-5 other crap
My Wildcard Tiebreakers for 3 or more teams.
Team 1 10-3
Team 2 9-4
Team 3 7-6
Team 4 7-6
Team 5 5-8
Division 2
Team 6 9-4
Team 7 7-6
Team 8 7-6
Team 9 7-6
Team 10 6-7
So since we switched to 2 divisions my logic may be shot but since I have to apply division Tiebreaker in step 1 of 3teams. I'm always just going to be doing the 2 team Wildcard right?
So since the above is their division standing I would check Team 3 vs Team 7. Assume Team 7 advances. I then start over with Team 3 vs Team 8? This made much more sense with multiple divisions.
I think now that we are back to 2 divisions this may need to be revisited

- Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the two Wild-Card participants.
- Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.)
- Total Points
Team 1 10-3
Team 2 9-4
Team 3 7-6
Team 4 7-6
Team 5 5-8
Division 2
Team 6 9-4
Team 7 7-6
