A few years ago but slow payment has caused many to quit.I was thinking of entering a Ant Sport money league just to get away from all the friends I have in my other leagues. Anybody ever been in one of these? If so what did you like or dislike about the league? Would you do it again?Thanks..
Won one last year and had no problems with payment. I like the format (victory pts, etc) a lot.A few years ago but slow payment has caused many to quit.I was thinking of entering a Ant Sport money league just to get away from all the friends I have in my other leagues. Never have had trouble with payment ..however the payouts have changed for the worse this year...also new rule that allows you to put a reserve player in to play if one of your starters does not play......not crazy about this ruleI have and will again use join their money leagues...............ProsExcellent customer serviceGreat rule set up (Skill trumps luck)Easy to use websiteI got fast paymentAttracts good owners (Unlike the Big name companies)ConsWebsite looks kinda datedMiscAntsports has some cool side games for people who join up. You can win a big screed TV this yearI would highly recommend them.
How did he do that? I have spoke with Steve (the owner) on the phone a couple of times...he seems very straight up.Ants owner allowed and actually help COLLUSION on one of those money leagues. Just a warning but I would recommend NOT using them!
I haven't seen any collusion on Antsports. IMHO, the owner (Steve) is very fair. If you have an issue, you can call him - he's always very accessible. I had a “slow pay” issue 3 years ago, but did get paid. I won $$$ the last 2 years and have gotten paid pretty quickly. The only things that I sometimes wish for are larger starting rosters. The best you can get is 1QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/1K/1D (normal) or 1QB/1RB/3WR/1TE/1K/1D (flex). I’d like it more if you could at least have one more flex player, but I’m splitting hairs – overall, I think it’s a good league.Ants owner allowed and actually help COLLUSION on one of those money leagues. I agree with whatever your avatar saysI've been on antsports for the past 3 years. I won't be doing a 4th.The 'live' scoring may as well be nonexistant, if you are 10 minutes behind the games it's considered running extremely smoothly. Servers are habitually slow despit each year promises of upgrades. The payouts are only a half step above the large commercialized sites. I was in a couple of customized dynasty leagues there, and the commissioning service was horrendous, and Steve would never respond to requests such as modifying the league's free agency pool for our rookie/FA drafts.I love the format of his leagues, but I don't feel that he was able to scale up effectively as the site got bigger and everyone suffered for it. Also, I can say that I've never had any problems with slow payment from the public leagues I was in.I would highly recommend Unlucky's redraft leagues and Rvnzfan's dynasty leagues, even Xpertsports' leagues way before I'd even mention Antsports.Of course, that's just MHO.
This is true. I don't know if the threads are still on the message board. Steve referred to it as "an upgrade to a friend." After the league members complained Steve reversed the trade but let the owners keep their victory points for the weeks in question. How did he do that?
