SD Union-Tribune beat writer Kevin Acee tweeted about half an hour ago that Gates "is taking part in team drills"that's all I got.

I think people were just having some fun...no biggie. This hobby is fun. No need to get all "serious business" here.FWIW, I think both Gates and Witten are fine selections and I look at Gates at the bigger risk/reward player and Witten as the safer but both are solid.
The humor is clearly in that he made two very similar mistakes in succession. You don't have to spell Houshmandzadeh right, but Anthony Gates and Jason Whitten? You gotta catch some flack for that! They are the top two players at their position right now! Plus, I'm not sure this kind of thread really belongs in the SP to begin with. Seemed more like an AC question to me.
