Bryant could have a huge season if he can get healthy. His performance on the field the second half of last season (once he got acclimated), dictated he was one of the premier WRs in the NFL. I can't remember the DB, but in an interview after a game, he basically said it was almost impossible to cover Bryant one-on-one. I taped some of his games last season because I was thinking about heavily investing in him this season & he really impressed me. He's now one of the best WRs in the NFL, IMO.
I'm rooting for the kid. He's finally matured (by all accounts). Talent was never the question (he had what could be termed an outstanding rookie season for a WR). If Bryant has truly turned the corner in his personal life, he's going to be a FF monster. I hope he can get healthy soon & this knee problem doesn't linger. It would be a shame if this season gets compromised because of injury just as he's about to become an elite WR in a contract year.
Wow... the title of the article is "Antonio Bryant suffers setback?" and the very first sentence is "Raheem Morris wouldn't say his top receiver suffered a setback". And the second and third sentences are Morris saying that Bryant isn't even injured. God bless PFT.
I agree with Chicago Hooligan. The takeaway from this should be that Bryant did not participate in practice today despite partially participating yesterday. Nothing more.
