fixedPretty sweet shots of Cromartie's raw speed here, where after not having the angle trying to make a tackle on Greene in the hole, Cromartie gathers himself and explodes late to not only catch Greene, but practically knock him right on his ### without even trying. It was just a little late is all...

He missed the tackle, and then caught Greene after he was slowing to a stop in the endzone. Then he gave him a little cheapshot that Greene didn't see coming and still didn't knock him over.Whatever. You really think Greene is faster than Cromartie? I guess with a purported IQ of 60 it will likely take another year or two in the league learn the finer points of the game such as the importance of field location.Pretty sweet shots of Cromartie's raw speed here, where after not having the angle on Greene in the hole, Cromartie gathers himself and explodes late to not only catch Greene, but practically knock him right on his ### without even trying. Did he really "catch" him? Greene pulled up at about the five yardline and was coming to a stop in the endzone when he was "caught". Obviously Cromartie is a faster man... but you could hardly tell from that clip.Pretty sweet shots of Cromartie's raw speed here, where after not having the angle on Greene in the hole, Cromartie gathers himself and explodes late to not only catch Greene, but practically knock him right on his ### without even trying. Seemed to me he was late to the hole, Greene was already gone when Cromartie showed up.The clip shows Cromartie's speed - I'd debate 'showing him up'. I don't call it what when you cheap shot a guy standing still in the end zone. But Cromartie is fast, it's part of his game. Was there doubt on this point? He showed good hustle catching back up to the play. Why didn't Cromartie try to tackle Green in the hole? WTF?
Yep, right up there with Cromartie, for sure, as far as corners go.seriously....thats like a kid bragging about wiping himself......after he crapped his pants.

wow... you really think that? I guess I could see him being like Deion when it comes to "trying" to stick his nose in there and make the tackle. Dude HAD an angle on the RB "IN THE HOLE" and if you are seeing anything great beyond that than congratulations you just don't get it. Great speed for sure but come on dude... he should have made the play at the line of scrimmage.Whatever. You really think Greene is faster than Cromartie? COULD have made the play at the LOS. Watch again. He played the contain after Greene hesitated. IMO he did what he was assigned to do. "Up the middle" was someone else's responsibilty.wow... you really think that? I guess I could see him being like Deion when it comes to "trying" to stick his nose in there and make the tackle. wow.... get off it already. You one of his baby mommas?
maybe but he slowed down when greene got close... and half fast it when he threw his hand out there looking for jersey... his body language in the hole was of someone "sitting back on their heels" not at all aggressively trying to make a play. At that point in the game you gotta make a stop. BTW when has he ever been confused with someone disciplined to their assignment? I remember a ton of complaints about how he covers or doesn't cover people or that he is too undisciplined because he's always looking for the big play! You want Deion-esque you should look no further than the other side of the field at Darrelle Revis. Dude SHUTS DOWN whomever he's covering. Phil Rivers said they wouldn't be scared to throw at him. 4 attempts later they were left with 1-4 for minus 4 yds and a pick.COULD have made the play at the LOS. Watch again. Yeah that was pretty good. The only showing up I saw on that play was S.Greene doing the LT ball flip after scoring the TD.

Haha, I'm thinking the same thing.Heads up, fellas....nobody would seriously give Cromartie props for a blatantly embarrassing play.May I suggest to some of the posters in this thread to get their sarcasm meter checked.
I think you're failing to see the point of this thread. It'sThis is an early candidate for the worst and most pointless post of the year.
. Well done SLBD.The 1st Annual Heyward-Bey Invitational was one of my favorite plays of the year, no doubt. I watched it like 50 times...Why didn't Cromartie try to tackle Green in the hole? WTF?

The DHB play looked kind of like the Jets DBs surrounding Jim Leonhard after he picked off Rivers last week. Leonhard caught the ball, slipped a little, then regained his feet and started running upfield. Rhodes took off for the sideline and left Leonhard in the dust as the 3 Chargers that Rhodes sprinted past all converged to make the tackle. Meanwhile Sheppard stayed behind Leonhard the whole way in the trail/lateral position, apparently confusing Leonhard with his defensive backfield mate from the 08 Ravens, Ed Reed. Drives me crazy when teammates of a guy who makes an INT all start sprinting downfield ahead of him, and neglect to ever actually make a block to help him.The DHB 90 yard dash was the funniest play all year.

I love Hunter Smith (holder) the one who takes the snap and ends up throwing the ball waves the kicker into motion leaving him with zero blockers. This play was just so bad.Mind-blowing.Carter_Can_Fly said:DHB one was good but that was one guy.....

Epic Redskins Trick Play Fail
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWoeHEEUU50At the highest level...That reminds me of Lane Kiffin's 70 yard (more?) field goal try with the Raiders. My memory's foggy, but there was something else about it that was equally absurd -- like it was into the wind or they were down by 20 or something. Keep meaning to look that up...
Dude, you are unbelievable. Cromartie came VERY close to getting a personal foul after Greene was at the back of the end zone, another classless move amoung many committed by the Chargers in that game. Without trying? He DID throw a shoulder well after the play was over and done. Greene had stopped running. If Cromartie put JUST a little bit more into that shoulder throw... it would have been yet another unsportmanlike penatly on SD. Why you would draw attention to something a player did that was classless and chippy after he was owned .... you really have an ax to grind. Better keep it away from that doll of yours. In fact, you are so pathetic, I'm flagging you as a troll. If you want to go fishing, at least put a worm on the hook.
