Antwan Barnes starter next year? (1 Viewer)

Lately the hype of this kid has started to grow significantly and I was wondering what the chances are that he starts next year. Will the position he takes over be one that allows him to be productive fantasy wise?

He has some physical ability and the Ravens have a good record of finding talent and developing it so I wouldn't doubt it. Down the road Yamon Figurs and Jerrod Gaither are probably future stars for them as well.

After watching MNF.. when he creamed Brady... he looked a little smallish. I know hes listed at 6'1"... but he didn't look it.

I am not sure how many plays he had, but I saw him near Brady at least 3 times and he had 1 sack (And he rushed from both ends). He has not made many appearances this year and I thought he played very well considering he was going against very good o-lineman and a very smart QB that doesn't get sacked a lot. He is very strong and very fast, I think the Ravens will find a spot for him.

He will provide the pass rush punch that Jarret Johnson hasn't. Just a reminder to stay tuned in the offseason. Here's what I wrote about Barnes after watching him at texas vs the nation practices:

Antwan Barnes (Florida International) closes as fast as an LB edge rusher as just about anyone I’ve seen the last three weeks.

I believe he went on to have three sacks in the game.
