Any advice? Doing my first rotisserie draft tomorrow. (1 Viewer)

Was wondering if there is any strategy. Have been doing football for years but this is my first crack at baseball. It is a rotisserie league and I have pick 8 of 10. Are pitchers more valuable? Do you grab OFs first?, etc. I don't know where to begin. The scoring is the default ESPN and is pretty basic. 5 categories for offense and 5 for pitching. TIA!

Are pitchers more valuable? It depends on the settings. Is there a cap on the number of moves you can make?

No cap. The 5 pitching scoring categories are ERA, WHIP, saves, strikeouts and wins. Offensive categories are HR, AVG, RBI, runs, and stolen bases.

Hitting. Early, often.
yes, emphasis on infield, slightly devalue sb, easiest cat to fill in season on offense. Make sure you have at least two top fifteen closers, leave with either three or four. don't worry about starting pitching, can be fixed throughout season. Just make sure you don't get a bunch of high walk guys, some are good if they also cone with K's but too many could kill your ratios.
