Any Buy-Low people that people really like this week? (1 Viewer)

How about Brandon Marshall, coming off 3 poor, and getting worse weeks, averaging well under 10 pts per game?
Agreed. I'm trying to buy low on Marshall. The Marshall owner in my league needs a TE so I'm trying to deal Terrance Williams and Delanie Walker for Marshall and a bench RB. Might be too low though.
I got Marshall, gio, Oliver

Gave up dez, mccoy, k. Davis he was jamal owner. I had to sell on dez I love the guy and expect numbers from him but can't keep taking those 2 point games from shady. My rbs were bad with Gerhart, shady, sankey, martin leading the pack was a relief to get rid of shady though I know it's gonna end up biting me.

I wish I played in leagues that crappy.

Gio >>>>>>>>>>>>> McCoy

Dez > Marshall (barely)

Oliver >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Knile Davis.

Stupid.

Who do you play with that you think they will panic and sell low on a guy because he plays at SEA next week? That just doesn't seem to make any sense.
I don't think we are seeing eye to eye here. Many people that drafted Romo expected him to be a top 5-8 fantasy qb. According to your own stats--he has performed at QB12 so far--which to a lot of Romo owners is under-performing and possibly disappointing. Many fantasy owners who own a player that is not performing to their expectations may very well be motivated to sell that player prior to a matchup that they view as being very tough. I'm not sure how this dynamic is considered unique to the leagues that I play in?
Incorrect. Many people that drafted Romo HOPED he would be a value pick and a top 5-8 fantasy QB. He was solidly in the QB10-QB15 range preseason. Big difference as if they expected him to be a top 5, they would have drafted him top 5.
This is far from the truth. We all have expectations for what we think a player will do--but we do take into account the data when it comes to drafting players. Just because somebody thinks that Romo will be a top 5-8 qb doesn't mean that they will draft him there if Romo's ADP shows that he can be drafted later. I'm not quite sure what your point is.

I actually don't view this as a buy low at all. In fact--I slightly prefer the Lesean, Dez, Knile side. Marshall is a stud--but look at Dez's schedule the rest of the way. Aside from this week at seattle and one week at arizona--he has a very favorable schedule. He also plays philly weeks 13 and 15--which are during the fantasy playoffs--which is huge. McCoy has been an absolute disappointment this season--and this is exactly why it is the worst possible time to trade him. If I was a McCoy owner--I would either hold or wait for the "breakout" game and then look to make a move. Oliver looked great in his first game---but it was a first game. Ryan Matthews should be back in a few weeks--and if San Diego has learned one thing--it is to not rely too heavily on any one running back as they have a tendency to lose them. I see Oliver having a great 2-3 weeks--but who knows after that. Knile on the other hand has shown that he is that absolute best handcuff in the game. Jamaal is a slightly injury prone RB--and knile has already proven that he is a bonafide stud should Jamaal go down--and frankly..knile should be a must own for all Jamaal owners. Being that he is a jamaal owner--I think he made a trade that improved his team--and you made one that improved yours. I don't see a situation where somebody "bought low" here.

I like both Arizona WRs, and think Fitzgerald in particular can be had for considerably cheaper than his true value. Arizona's played a very tough schedule of teams who have been pretty stingy allowing WR points, and they've also had to deal with three different QBs seeing time in four games. They've also already had their bye. Palmer could be back by next week (or even this Sunday, though I'm skeptical) and the schedule lightens up. Even if Stanton has to play awhile, I think the easier schedule will create some opportunities for points here, as will a leaky pass defense and a tailback they likely won't ask carry the ball 300 times.

Fitzgerald scored 10 times last year with a bad hamstring. I think his issues this year have more to do with the QBs and defensive strength they've faced than him just being finished. I'm not sure others share that sentiment.

My sentiments as well. With their bye and a slew of tough match ups behind them, I think the Cardinals WRs are on the upswing. Stanton should be the starter this week after he cleared concussion protocol and I expect Palmer to continue progressing with his nerve issue. I think a week 7 return for him is legit. In light of the positive QB news, I just traded K. Benjamin for Floyd with hope that he can vault up to WR1 status.

BJGE? Knows the Patriots offense. And can't get any lower than being out of football.

I see Bucs receivers as good guys to pre-emptively target on the cheap heading into their bye. They might not be game changers but could be very useful with some major bye weeks coming up in weeks 9 & 10. Decent upcoming schedule, too.

I was able to purchase Andre Johnson for a handful of beans, but not sure which end of the deal I got. I think a lot of folks have lost faith in Big Ben, myself included mostly due to what I believe is the Todd Haley effect. Marshall has struggled to find the endzone for Da Bears, but did post 100 yards. Calvin owners have to be dejected but will still take a lot to get him. Same can be said for AJ.
