While the 49ers need to address numerous areas, mainly OL and a pass rusher, here's what I say to do at the #10 spot. Rick Gosselin has Mark Sanchez falling down the board. As much as I've been against taking a QB early, see the Alex Smith experiment, I say if Sanchez is availble at 10 take him. We could address the OL in the second with Phil Loadholt. A lot may disagree with this and I can understand their viewpoint but Alex Smith or Shaun Hill is not the answer for the Niners.

So, with the 10th pick in the 2009 NFL draft the S.F. 49ers take QB Mark Sanchez(USC), much to the disgruntled roars heard from the crowd at Radio City Music Hall.

Since you are set on wasting the first pick on a QB, just remember linebacker, defensive tackle, offensive tackle, defensive back and the kitchen sink are all areas of concern.

Other than WR and RB, it's not like you can say "Oh, we're good there, let's look elsewhere" at any position.

Sounds like you're as enamored with the Redskins brass as I am with the Yorks and the Niners front office. Mostly the Yorks though. Get rid of them I'd be happy.
