Any new RB revelations from Bronco-land? (1 Viewer)

Anyone heard anything new on how Selvin Young and Travis Henry will be used this week? With more than a week and ahalf off for Travis henry, I'd assume his knee is in a little better shape.

Anyone heard anything from Skeletor on any of this?? Is everyone still under the assumption that Selvin gets the majority of the carries again?

I would think if you made it to the platoffs with either of those 2 on your team than you got there in spite of them not because of them...dont bother :football:

last week i started young over James but luckily I still won. I would not touch young or Henry this week.

Heard from a inside source close to Shanny, that he indeed loathes Fantasy Footballers to their core. No link; sorry.

Does it really matter what you hear from Bronco land? play anyone else but a Bronco back.
Sorry, but in one league I have no choice (unless you consider Chris Brown and Julius Jones choices).Yes, believe it or not, I actually made it to my league championship game with this team. So I'd really like to hear something relevent about Henry/Young this week.

After last week you should feel lucky to still be alive and you should know to look elsewhere for your starters this week.

I've made it to my championship game and have lost Larry Johnson, Reggie Bush and have only Selvin Young and Travis Henry left.

I figured I'd just start them both, but now with Bush having a possibility of playing I'm in the same boat as OP. I guess I'll go with Henry since it seems he's the GL back. However, this league gives huge bonuses for longer TDs which makes Selvin kind of potent since he seems to be the RB inside the 20s. I don't know what to do. In fact I'm pretty sure I'll end up picking the wrong one.

I watch every play every week and still canot really help you on this. I would expect it to be Henry considering all the g0d damn money we paid him.

It seemed like Henry was still hurting the past couple weeks and Selvin was the main guy between the 20s and garnered about 2/3 of the carries. Last week the Broncos fell behind so the running game took a back seat. I think in TD-heavy leagues Henry is the better bet. In PPR or high performance leagues (bonuses for long TDs etc.) Young should be the better play. If anyone hears something, please let us know.

Those that are saying to not bother with either one isn't helping in the least. I'm also in the championship despite playing Young over Maroney last week, and I have to choose between Denver/Maroney again this weekend.

I think you gotta go with Maroney in a likely blowout vs MIA. They'll be running the clock out all day and MIA's run D is horrible.

That's what I'll probably go with but Brady has yet to break Mannings record...and if one Denver rb was going to get the bulk of the work, that would become a viable alternative.

"I can say this: I'm not like I was at the beginning of the year. That's the truth," Henry said. "On a scale of one to 10, 10 being the highest, I'd say I'm, like, a seven."

Noticeably absent of late has been Henry's quickness to the hole and, once he arrives there, his open-field burst.

"And that's my game - that burst," he said. "It's one of those things where I talked to a couple of players

who've had it, and it ain't going to heal up this season. I can't have surgery on it. So I'm just dealing with it, man."

Definitely doesn't sound like he's healthy, but he's not on the injury report. I'm still trying to figure out what happened to Henry last week when he went down. Thought he might have aggravated something, but I guess not b/c I haven't heard a thing about it.

I'm pretty sure you'll see them split carries this week again but I expect Selvin to get more carries and receptions. Henry seems limited in what he can do, but Shanny seems to want to play him anyway.

If you think your gonna need a HR guy..starts Selvin.

If you just want to make sure u get 5-10 points minimum go with Travis

Personally I say go big or go home. Start Selvin and hope he busts a couple of big runs

Not sure, but I think Henry got hit in the neck last week and that kept him out a few plays.

I would like to give this a bump, some of us delpleted by injury are trying to put something togehter this weekend. With ADP a lock to play on my roster the next 4 are pretty tough to choose one. MJD, Little Leon, Selvin and now Sproles. So Denver homers here anything new give us some love.

any Denver homers can chime in here? Despite having Selvin in last week I managed to make it to the dance...

looking for any info about practice, etc...

it's either Selvin or Dwayne Bowe....right now...looking like Bowe....
