ANY NEW NEWS ON CLINTON PORTIS.DID HE PRACTICE ON FRIDAY? I CANT AFFORD TO HAVE HIM NOT PLAY ON MONDAY.I LOST ONE WEEK DUE TO COTCHERY.I CANT LET THAT HAPPEN AGAIN.SHOULD I JUST START CHOICE SO I HAVE GUARANTEE POINTS INSTEAD OF A MAYBE?? THANKS LARRY

"I've got plantar faciitis, an ankle, the inside of my MCL, and a calf all on my right leg," said Portis. "So if I can get a new lower leg, I'll be fine." If only. Portis is coming off a season-high 7.3 yards per carry in Week 6, which makes him an ideal "sell" candidate. His legs are gone. Though he missed practice Thursday, coach Jim Zorn still expects him to play this week.
