Any other SJax & BJGE owners out there? (1 Viewer)

I'll do you one better. BJE IS my #2 back. Praying Jackson starts, but as of right now he's on my bench. Brandon Jackson is my #3, so if Jackson can't go Sunday...

Do you not have ANY other options? If not, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pats wind up on the goal line a time or 2, and BJGE fall into the endzone.

No other options really. My RBs are Addai, SJax, FJones, DWard, and Peyton Hillis. Some idiot just dropped Antonio Pittman on waivers last night, but I won't know if I got him in the second round of waivers until Sunday morning. Risky move either way I go. Don't love BJGE tonight, but not sure I have better options.

No Sammy Morris tonight.....plus 70% chance of rainBJGE is getting a start from me.
:goodposting: us too!!!! gl manfrom rotoworld:Report: Sammy Morris expected to be inactive ESPN's Wendy Nix reports that Sammy Morris (questionable, knee) is expected to be inactive Thursday night against the Jets. The Boston Herald also doesn't think Morris will play. The forecast in Foxboro is calling for a 70% chance of rain, so New England may be forced to use Kevin Faulk and BenJarvus Green-Ellis often even in this unfavorable matchup. Green-Ellis will likely get the goal-line carries, as usual. Nov. 13 - 12:55 pm et

Rams RB Steven Jackson was in sweats during the Rams Thursday morning practice, apparently after his injured thigh did not respond well to Wednesday's practice. After a few minutes Jackson went inside, presumably to get treatment on his ailing thigh muscle.

Why not hold on and see what happens with SJax, and if he doesn't play, go with Peyton Hillis? Falcons give up 4.9 yards per carry and they're not going to stack the box against Cutler & co. It's highly unlikely Tatum Bell's in game shape so Hillis will likely get most of the touches, get the GL carries, and catch a couple of passes in a potential shootout. SJax also has a favorable matchup if he's healthy enough to play.Faulk will get the catches so BJGE needs to get rushing yards and a TD to be a good play, and that may be tough against the Jets D.

Yea I was thinking that, but I feel like Hillis might not get the touches even if he is the only back. Against Cleveland they just aired it out the whole time and that's a pretty sh-t run D. Then again maybe they will have game planned enough in the long week in between to get Hillis some touches.

I can see Hillis getting 15 carries with 5+ targets. If the Broncos are trailing, maybe he gets fewer carries but more targets. Like you said, the Broncos will have game planned for Hillis being the starting RB this week. Go with BGJE if you think the Pats will be winning late so they use him to kill the clock. (I think they'll be throwing the ball a lot and Faulk is the NE back you want to play).(Hillis owner)
