IMO this theory seems dependant on the individual players attitude. Or maybe its by position?. Anybody have thoughts / documentation on if its a valid idea across the board, or by player? Which position is most susceptible ?

It is the character of the player that determines this. It will be interesting to see how A. Haynsworth does this year.
