A major reason why the Ravens have gone 3-0 this season is avoiding major injuries to their starters.
That trend could continue for Sunday's game between the San Diego Chargers.
Ravens defensive end Terrell Suggs, who left Sunday's game with a pulled right hamstring, walked without a limp around the practice complex and seemed ready to return to the lineup.
"As far as I know, everything's going according to plan," Suggs said. "I don't feel that bad. I feel a lot better than [sunday]. I think we're probably making a big deal over nothing."
The Ravens replaced Suggs with Jarret Johnson during their 15-14 win over the Cleveland Browns. If Suggs can't go, Johnson could play on running downs and Dan Cody could go on passing situations.
Ravens coach Brian Billick was more vague on Suggs' status.
"We'll have to see how it progresses," he said. "There is always hope. I wouldn't categorize it right now."
